Mark your calendars for Women United's 7th Annual Power of the Purse Luncheon-Join Us for WOMEN UNITED's Signature Event! 

Each year the women of the Chattahoochee Valley gather to celebrate the impact of their involvement as United Way donors and volunteers!

Last year's luncheon was a sellout attended by more than 600 people! This enabled us to distribute more than 2,200 undergarments to women and girls being served by our United Way Partner Agencies. It also allows us to fund an Undergarment Voucher Program that benefits women in need in the Chattahoochee Valley.

FEATURED SPEAKER
This year's featured speaker is a journalist, spoken word poet and philanthropist. Atlanta author of five spoken word albums and two non-fiction books, Amena Brown invites all to share in the discovery of healing from past hurt, failtures and negativity. You won't want to miss out in this fun-loving and motivating time to experience an empowering message with a mix of poetry and humor.

WEAR ONE, BRING ONE
We are asking attendees to once again bring undergarment items to be donated. An undergarment is something we often take for granted, but there are so many in our community who do not have access to the essentials.
