On Saturday April 14th, City Winery is excited to host ATL Collective's recreation of Fiona Apple's GRAMMY-winning debut, Tidal. Released in July of 1996, when Apple was only eighteen years old, the album boasts six singles, including "Shadowboxer" and "Criminal." This is Apple at her most emotionally open, and because of that the album speaks to so many of us.
Part of the Collective's Apolla Series, the show will be curated by Atlanta powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and pianist, Prisca. The Apolla Series is a collection of live music experiences seeking to elevate the underrepresented female voice by broadcasting the best albums by women. If you've not seen a Collective show, you're missing out on one of the finest events in the 404. They handpick the best local and national talent to collectively reimagine a classic album top to bottom.
